What exactly is included in a deep cleaning?

A deep cleaning includes everything in a standard clean (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, tidying) plus the detailed work routine cleans skip: inside the oven, microwave and refrigerator, grout scrubbing, baseboards and trim wiped by hand, ceiling fans, vents and light fixtures, window tracks, sills and blinds, and the build-up behind and under movable furniture. Inside cabinets and drawers are typically done on request. It's a full top-to-bottom reset of the home.

How long does a deep cleaning take?

Significantly longer than a standard clean — often 1.5 to 2.5 times as long — because of all the detail work. A small apartment might take a few hours; a larger home can take most of a day or a team of cleaners. The exact time depends on the home's size and how long it's been since the last thorough cleaning, since heavier build-up takes more work to remove.

Is inside the fridge and oven included?

Yes — interior of the oven, microwave, and refrigerator are part of a deep clean (a standard clean only does the exteriors). Inside kitchen cabinets and drawers are usually included on request, since not everyone wants them emptied and cleaned each time. If there's a specific appliance or area you want prioritized, just mention it when you book.

Do I need a deep clean or just a regular clean?

If your home is already maintained and you want it kept fresh, a regular clean is right. Choose a deep clean if it's been a while since a thorough cleaning, you're moving in or out, hosting, recovering from a renovation, or starting recurring service. Many people book one deep clean to reset the home, then switch to recurring standard cleans to keep it that way affordably.

Can I customize the deep cleaning checklist?

Yes. The room-by-room list above is our standard scope, but it's flexible. If you want the team to prioritize the kitchen and primary bathroom, skip a rarely used guest room, or add on-request items like inside cabinets or a full refrigerator interior, just say so during the pre-clean walkthrough. Flagging your priorities upfront is the best way to make sure the areas that matter most to you get the most attention.
